Properties of Medical Grade Silicone

This material is low volatile, peroxide-free, platinum cured and does not discolor over time with superior temperature and chemical resistance. The ingredients used to make this product are also listed in CFR 177.2600. This FDA regulation deals with rubber articles intended for repeated use in contact with food with for medical devices. This material is ozone and UV resistant, is an excellent gasketing material and it is available in 30-80 Durometer.
