In general, Open-Cell Foams are more renowned for their cushion and airy feel, rather than their ability to offer an air-tight and water-impermeable seal. At Blaylock Gasket & Packing we offer a large variety of open-cell foam material ideal for a variety of applications. Open Cell Polyurethane Foam: With resistance to compression set, Urethane materials work where others won’t – gasketing and sealing integrity will be maintained. Urethane materials provide a spring that won’t collapse under repeated pressure – parts won’t loosen after assembly. Components can be protected from impact and vibration.
