Garlock® Gylon
Garlock’s extensive line of restructured PTFE products is used in every sector of the world economy, from railcars and ships to innovative labs and chemical plants. Of course, Blaylock offers Gylon® sheets, but our specialty is precision cut gaskets from this line of extraordinary, vaunted materials.
Many Gylon® materials are also available in an EPIX® version. EPIX® adds a unique hexagonal surface for improved compressibility and recovery.

GYLON® 3500
Silica-filled PTFE. Offers reduced creep and cold flow. Resists flame and bacterial growth.
USES: Strong acids (except hydrofluoric), solvents, hydrocarbons, water, steam, chlorine, and cryogenics. Conforms to FDA regulations. (For oxygen service, specify "Style 3502 for oxygen service.")

GYLON® 3540
The GYLON® Style 3540 gasket is a highly compressible, microcellular PTFE gasketing material designed to compress and conform to irregular or damaged surfaces, making it suitable for flanges that generate lower compressive stresses, such lined flanges and equipment.
