Poron & Urethane Foam Gasket Supplier
When it comes to resiliency and cushioning, nothing beats the extraordinary dampening, sealing and padding power of polyurethane based sponges. Around the house, you might urethane sponge or foam in a mattress, pillow, shoe insert, bike helmet or office chair seat. However, urethane sponge is much more than a comfy cushion. This extraordinary material in many of its forms offers premium soundproofing & waterproofing, top-of-the-line packaging properties and thermal insulator capabilities. Blaylock offers three lines of Polyurethane products in the form of sheets, rolls, tapes and cut parts.

Our team is at the ready to help you with your Polyurethane Sponge project.
What is Polyurethane Sponge?
Polyurtehane is a copolymer developed in 20th Century Germany. In its solid state, Polyurtehane is seen by many as a sort of a half-plastic, half-rubber type material. Many polyurethane sponges offer low compression set and exceptional cushioning properties.
What are the advantages of Blaylock Polyurtehane Sponge?
- VARIETY: From extra-soft to extra-firm, Blaylock has spent years working with all Polyurtehane sponge types. Our expertise and wide selection means you can get your parts in an economical and expedient manner.
- VERSATILITY: While many Polyurethane sponges share similar properties, we also offer sponges with special abilities like low rebound, flammability ratings and more.
Types of Polyurethane Sponge Products
Our polyurethane sponge offerings fall into one of the three below categories. We can sell material in roll form, by the foot or stripped into tapes with and without adhesive backing. Over the years we have made thermal insulators, weather stripping, filter seals, gaskets, iso pads, packaging inserts and much more.
Open-Cell Polyurethane Sponge
We offer a super-soft open cell poly sponge that is ideal for packaging, shadow boxes, cushioning or even some filtering. This material is in stock and available in different thicknesses.
With resistance to compression set, Cellular urethane materials work where others won’t – gasketing and sealing integrity will be maintained. Cellular urethane materials provide a spring that won’t collapse under repeated pressure – parts won’t loosen after assembly. Components can be protected from impact and vibration. Urethane materials offer long life, are easily fabricated, and accept adhesive – for positioning anywhere. Urethane materials are used in a wide range of applications.
