FDA METAL DETECTABLE SILICONE
Our FDA Metal Detectable Silicone can be picked up by integrated metal detectors on the production line. Food and drug manufacturers utilize this material when delays created by erosion of the seal would be cost prohibitive. Basically, impregnation of particles able to be identified by metal detectors ensure quarantine of foreign sela fragments don’t shut the line down for extended timeframes. Foreign material can be quickly identified and removed. Material is manufactured with FDA white list ingredients per FDA Title 21 of CFR177.2600

FLUOROSILICONE
Traditional silicone rubber is not a good choice with many fuels and solvents. Blaylock’s fluorosilicone offers many of the benefits of silicone with added fuel, oil and solvent resistance provided by fluorocarbons. Primarily used in static sealing applications, fluorosilicone is a popular choice for aerospace, fuel emission controls and more. Available in sheet form, extruded or molded to shape. Our material meets AMS 3325.This material is also referenced by its ASTM designation FVMQ. Material meets FDA Title 21 of CFR177.2600.
