Red Rubber Gasket & Sheet
Renowned for its utility, versatility and availability – Red Rubber and SBR are found in applications across the industrial spectrum. Many car tires are made from SBR, as are many footwear products. Long and short, SBR is a very common general purpose industrial rubber. Blaylock offers two forms of SBR – black smooth rubber and red rubber, available in both plate and fabric finish.
What is SBR
SBR is a copolymer rubber of styrene a butadiene. It’s durable, tough and exceptionally economical. In fact, when people ask for generic rubber, SBR is often to go-to. Red rubber flange gaskets by Blaylock are a staple at many supply houses across the country.
Sometimes referred to as SBR (STYRENE-BUTADIENE - SBR) and commonly called "synthetic rubber", this material was developed as an alternative to the natural rubber. Recommended for service in cold and hot water, air, steam and some weak acids. We also offer this product with a fabric finish.
What are the advantages of SBR & RED RUBBER
